The HMEC450 is a improvement over the HMEC400 by increasing the microphone and speaker sound quality. Designed for premium comfort and style, the new ANR headset manages to retain Sennheiser's familiar low profile design, essential in tight cockpits, while sporting a new plush leatherette headband and extra soft ear cushions on distinctive silver ear cups. 

Suited for use in most general aviation aircraft, the HMEC400 is similar in performance to the HMEC 300. Both headsets feature the Sennheiser NoiseGard system (ANR) with a circum-aural ear cup and include a NoiseGard on/off switch; mono/stereo switch and volume control as standard features. Portability and convenience are ensured with both an installation kit and a battery pack included at no extra charge. A deluxe padded carrying case is also included. 

The HMEC 450 is sold with an extended ten-year warranty.
