First, it is important that you realize I am in the
Air Force, am currently stationed in Japan and, as a
first time customer, I came to you pretty frustrated.
I had been searching for a company that could sell me
the new Yaesu Aviator Pilot. I thought I had found the
place in one of your competitors (name withheld). I
also thought I had found a very good price. So, I
called them and placed my order.
Four
days later I got around to checking my e-mail only to
find a message from them. They told me that in order
to process my order they would need to have a physical
address to ship via UPS (my military postal box would
not do) and that the merchandise I had ordered
exceeded the limit for U.S. mail. I've been over here
long enough to realize that there is no way this was
true. The only thing I can figure is that, in some
way, it was inconvenient for them to mail via the post
office. This is a constant frustration for us
overseas. Too many companies rely solely on UPS
or FedEx and will not work with us.
I
cancelled that order and immediately began searching
for a new "store" over the web that carried
what I wanted (23 April 1999). To make a long story a
short, I found Spinners, placed my order online, and
was enjoying my new handheld on 1 May.

Having never dealt with your company before, I was
pleasantly suprised to e-mail a question I had
regarding different headsets - which was answered
quickly......I posed similar questions to other
internet-based vendors and am still awaiting a
response (3days later).
2)
Pricing of items was easy (in particular for the DC
H10-13.4 headset). Based on some comparison shopping,
Spinners headset prices and Jeppesen materials prices
were very reasonable......and from a pricing
perspective, beat the competition by a fair margin.
3)
Placing an order with your secure server was simple
(having never placed an order over the internet I was
a bit concerned about the integrity of the
transaction) - and confirmation of my order was
received soon after order placement....
4)
Finally, I was stunned to receive your call to clarify
a request on my order - basically regarding
